CONSTITUTION

..1......The name of the Foundation is "NU Foundation For Community Partnerships"

...2......The purpose of the Foundation is to provide a variety of interesting and enriching opportunities within the African Ancestral Community, so that a spiritual, economical, and universal diversity can develop among all people, thus ensuring a more prosperous future for all children regardless of colour, creed, age or gender. The open written message behind the NU Foundation For Community Partnerships is one of, "It takes a community to raise children", and with that thought, the 21st Century holds an abundant of opportunities for all those who believe in this philosophy, and shall be built upon in accordance with team effort, community support and collaboration.

.....a).....To establish a workable Universal Lunch Program to all children in all communities.

.....b).....To build, upgrade or maintain cooking facilities on school sites or; establish separate learning or resource centres that benefit participating School Districts under the title called, "Public District Enhancement".

.....c).....To distribute quality education products and materials randomly throughout the school system for the purpose of fostering group co-operation and community support under the title called "Gifts For Education".

.....d).....To developing Youth Services and General Community Youth Activites & Programs with the intent to create positive learning environments, so that a wide range of activities and resources become fundamental blocks within communities, so that all youth can profit from these programs.

.....e).....To help to develop stronger family units, based on a level that promotes healthy relationships within the family unit as a whole, in addition too, and within the community.

.....f).....To create tradition and encourage the acceptance of each individuals right to freedom of choice about religion or spiritual faith through the promotion of spiritual workshops, for all those who want to participate with good merit within the Foundation for the purpose of uplifting the whole community.

.....g).....To endorse or advocate legal interracial adoptions or otherwise, between other countries and Canada with the goal to expand the choice of country from where children in need of adoption (eg. Africa, Jamaica, Ukraine, India) can benefit from this program; and to further assist in helping families with the cost of administrative fees, and the NU Foundation For Community Partnerships will do so accordingly, in addition too, Local Aid under the title of "Adoption Aid & Benefit Program".

.....h).....To establish a gateway team through training and education in the effort to eradicate poverty related issues facing many Developing World Countries, which will be maintained to become another leader in World Outreach Programs while working with other positive individuals and Organizations to do so, under the title called "Out Reach To Africa".

.....i).....To secure or acquire the funds, real property or other assistance necessary to meet the NU Foundation For Community Partnerships purposes.

...3......In the event of winding up or dissolution of the Foundation, the liquidator appointed shall cause all assets of the Foundation available for distribution to be transferred to an organization or organizations situate in British Columbia and devoted to the relief of poverty in Canada, or some other purpose beneficial to a Canadian community and such organization or organizations shall be determined by a majority of the Members attending the first meeting called by the liquidator. This provision shall be unalterable.

...4...... All donations that relate directly to programs within the NU Foundation For Community Partnerships where geographical locations or Ethnic backgrounds are broken up into groups or sub-sections, but not including Provincial Public Accounts, only a percentage of the total donation made by the Donator will go towards their personal choice for that program that participates in group benefits, while the other remaining funds donated will be divided equally among the remaining sub-groups within that program, or sub-section to that program. There will be no more than 7 sub-groups per program except for in the case were sub-sections are added on due to the geographical branching and mapping of the NU Foundation For Community Partnerships. The sharing of funds constitutes equal access for the purpose of ensuring community growth for all people within their immediate surroundings, in addition too, their neighbouring communities. Programs that participate within the group benefit plan are;

.....a).....In the event of a Provincial or National telethon being dedicated to a program that participates in the above group benefit plan, proceeds raised by that telethon will be distributed evenly among all groups, sub-groups, and sub-sections within that program the telethon is being held for.

...........This provision shall be alterable.

...5......The NU Foundation For Community Partnerships shall be carried on without the purpose of gain for its members and any profit or other accretion to the Foundation shall be used for promoting its purposes. This provision is unalterable.
